Be sure to see the new HVAC only training room at the Local 230 Training Center. If you have not read the HVAC NEWS LETTER you need to check it out, in particular the recruitment incentive program. Call Warren if you want to learn how you can earn a lot of extra money and help strengthen your local at the same time.
Local 230 is encouraging all HVACR members to belong to RSES (Refrigeration Service Engineers Society). If you are not already a member, Local 230 will pay one half of your first years dues. The yearly dues are $96.00. This society is a great resource for training and updating on current technology. RSES also helps technicians develop a comprehensive library of resource materials. Check out the national website at: www.rses.org. Contact Local 230 for more details.
